Finished tweaking on the HellKitty and got the Monte back on the operating table. I have a bunch of little things I want to address before I start driving the piss out of the car this Summer.
As you can see the boom tube was designed to allow for lifting/jacking.
Found my second wind yesterday and decided to start swapping out the springs. On chopped springs the car used to sit around 24.5" ground to fender lip. However the 2" drop spindles and 5660s only netted 26". Boooo! These are a set of Belltech 4200s (found a faint label/part number while cleaning them), a 1" drop for a S10. The wire diameter is the same .750" as the 5660s, but are missing a coil.
We should see a marked improvement.
