I’ve pretty much gutted the interior the lier siegler seats were nasty so I just went ahead and gutted it. I’m going to have to get new seat covers and door panels anyway

Cool project! My 84’ had the coveted Lear Siegler seats. In my opinion they are the best seats GM put in a G body. I’m glad you are restoring them. They are worth some money.

This was the car from Tennessee. .. I was very, VERY tempted on it.

Out of curiousity, do you mind sharing how low you got the guy down to on?

Not a bad car, being it was 1, kinda 2 owners father-son and all.

We actually did some trading on it. Unfortunately it was rougher than what I expected but it’s definitely worth saving. I’ve seen far worse come back from the dead but I’ve seen super clean get cut up.

The cowl and the front of the roof where the tops sit is what worries me. I think once I get the parts car here I will remove the front clip and start examining on how to go about patching it in. I think most people are comfortable doing basic floor pan patches. I’ve never done it but am going to try it in small sections. If it doesn’t work out I’ll get a body guy to do it.
