I'd say my favorite G-body is the Pontiac Grand Am. I would have liked a GA station wagon version...even if it was phantom built...;)
I really like the El Camino built with the GA header panel and trim. The General never made them that way, but this particular car is absolutely beautiful and very well done.. https://www.hemmings.com/blog/2008/03/11/a-little-bit-more-on-that-pontiac-grand-am-amino/

78-81 Pontiac LeMans 2 door bucket console car.

Been looking for one for 30 years :(

Initially I thought I was out of my mind buying a Lemans wagon... but, there really is something that draws people to Ponchos.

I can only speak for myself.

Street Cars
Model - 84 H/O
Why - Because I had one.
Second - 87 AeroCoupe, same reason
Third - 87/88 442 in white. Never had one.
Fourth - 87 MCSS T-top/bucket car -Reason- Have it 30 years 59k miles.

Drag Cars - Really like the wagons for drag race cars. I think the IHRA Crate Motor Stock class would be perfect.

Stock Car/Truck oval - 1 car 2 trucks. "Metric cars" 108 W/B, Camaro Spindles, relocated upper control arm mounts, set bump steer and anti-dive, x-frame, full chassis cage, flip the front sway bar over and make it a 'slapper bar', hang a body off the cage and then you can go really fast but only if you turn left .. LOL

This is/was my favorite. Yup...it's a G-Body

When I was looking for my next project car I saw a Lemans wagon for sale but it was already gone before I had time to look at it.
I am not a big wagon fan but the Pontiac front end gives them a unique look compared to others.

I bought a 86 Olds Cutlass Brougham in 85 off the lot, had some moral loosing memories in the back seat. Also planned on putting a BB in it but ended up crashing the car.
Well l found a 86 and brought it back to life.
So favourite g-body has to be the 86 Olds Cutlass, might be the memory too !!
Second has to be the Elcamino, IMG_20170408_232255_892.JPG which l just picked up a 78 Elcamino SS that was in a barn for 22 years. It just has nice lines !
