I meant thickness of material you did say it was gonna be aluminum right?
Not sure yet tbh. Neighbor only knows sheetmetal from doing circle track. There are some good fab guys local that I know that could tackle aluminum. I just don't have the right equipment here to do it, nor the room.

Dusted off the SS for a little spin around the block. Lit the tires up for the old man on the corner who likes cars. 🤘🇺🇸

Started work on a custom console.
it sucks.
but it was a $20 piece of wood vs ~$300 for a console.
the faint pencil line is where i think i'm gonna cut it down to in an effort to make the console less, uh, dramatic.
It's my first time making anything like this out of, well, anything. I've done brackets and exhaust and shelves n sh*t but never something like this.
I may, or may not, add some small speakers to it, but it will definitely have two cup holders.
it's really just a cheap placeholder until i can get a satisfactory color correct regal/cutlass console.
any info on this stuff is appreciated, as i have absolutely no idea what im doing.

That’s the setup Fatboy needs to see for his fan question.
Sir yes Sir!. I now have some more ideas, thats great. I found another E-fan set up that, as far as dimensions, looks like it'll work. I want to have working AC in this wagon so I do want to dual fan set up. I think the next thing for me now is figuring out if I can to hydroboost in this thing. LOL.

For the time being. When I go 200r4, it'll get a floor shifter and OEM console. This is just so I have something to rest on/cassette storage.

Looks really high to me but I don't actually lean on my center console so I guess that height probably does work for that

Yea that's up a couple inches more than a stock one. Then again I see your penciled line on it, that's closer to stock..

Pic I have on my phone for reference, and this is very comfortable for me. Depends on how tall you are etc..
