I tell you the thruth, I'm not sure what kind of motor it is, he told me it's a 350/400 original never modified. If somebody can tell me more about it ?? I'm pretty sure i'ts a Pontiac 400, because they came with a 350 block... I think :p But i'ts a 350 block with 400 heads
I suppose to buy that motor staring the year with the transmission. Can it fit easely in my 1979 Grands Lemans without modification or I will need some modification ans make a hole in my hood ?? I really like to escape the hole or a scoop on the hood.

your dad is right!!! But thats the real fun, you don't care for keeping original and you can swapped pieces on it. Original or not, don't mean nothing on those car. So don't keep any V-6 in that for keeping original and have fun for a motor swap :)
youdon't need to take out the motor, changing the transmission isa bad job on every model but not that worst on a Blazer. is it the first gear the problem...
it still no horsepower the same I had one and I could cry everytime that I floored it... And I have right now a 305 4 barrel and its a waist, not even ennoug hosepower for a good feeling...
I'm on the way to buy a nice 350 oversize with edelbrock stuff ont it, but the crank is done. So before buying it, what should I think first ? What piece that I need with the crank. How much a good crank ? Thanks.
