The filler is only on the ends getting the lines to match the body. I had to split the center of the bumper at the top and bottom to make it fit right. The bottom has a 1"x1/8" aluminum bar reinforcement riveted in. The top and bottom are both put back together with four layers of fiberglass and matting. Way too much work for a supposed to be finished part, but well worth it.
Okay, gotcha. I was thinking that the filler was in the middle of the bumper, but it makes sense that you used it on the ends to level out the lines. Nice job.

Amazing. The time, effort, and knowledge put into this. Beautiful car, I can only hope my car will be half this cool.

Building 1-7/8” long tubes sand there ain’t much room! Driver side is almost done. Passenger side will be interesting.

Thanks. I’m torn on spending dang near $500 on JetHot coating. The tubes are aluminized already and the 2000F header paint seems to work well and is wayyyyyy cheaper. I could always pull them back off next winter if I wasn’t happy and have them coated.
