1980 Pontiac LeMans Station Wagon - G-T-faux (stuck with it, and can't shake it... like a bad case of herpes)

So last night after writing the tune (mostly just setting up the trans and rescaling the throttlebody) I went out to the garage to flash it to the ECM. No issues given it was a "Write Entire" aka. a "brickable moment". After that was done I decided to set the TPS, IAC, and the throttle stop because I had to hold the pedal open to get the engine to idle the other night (didn't help that I had a bunch of unmetered air coming in from the crankcase - which reminds me I need a catch can).

The goals are: .45-55V at idle (throttle closed, upper limit here is ~.65V as it will force the ECM out of the "idle" parameters, and probably set a code) and 4.00+V at WOT (4.20+V is preferred, and I think the upper limit is ~4.7V before it throws a code), and showing 100% throttle with the pedal mashed.

Using this procedure: https://sites.google.com/site/sloppywiki/everything-ls/iac-relearn

I ended up with the TPS at .47V at idle and 3.98V at WOT and ~97.5% throttle (at little low - but should still trigger Power Enrichment thresholds (which can be tweaked in the tune)). Not quite right, to be fair these figures usually jump a hair when the engine is running/charging and not just relying on a slightly undercharged battery for reference voltage. So I am going to try swapping out the TPS before I start grinding and hammering parts to suit.

Vroom vroom, fellas. Vroom! Vroom!

Get it done! 🙂

If it makes you feel any better I just bolted the exhaust back on and buttoned the car up underneath. Just have to tidy up under the hood now.
