I didn't see a tailpipe pic, but these goat tips would be most appropriate on your stellar goat themed wagon. Glad to see your on the road.

It was a thought at one time to do quad tips. Right now we are sticking with the full length slash cut tails.

Lol, I just got rid of the out the back pipes I had...Not only were they ugly as hell(it had weird tips on it), I got dizzy driving with the fumes suckin in the hatch...

I wanted to put the GTO tails on, but the pipe has to run higher than the frame would allow for them to dump properly.

That pic is real nice...The way the fronts fill the fender up. It almost looks like it's extra flared fender...

Man, I'd love to go for a ride in that bad boy...Looks soooo sweet ..Few wagons can pull off the truly menacing look yours is possessed with.

Thanks, it is pretty beastly! I actually wanted the long pipes to help hide the gas tank and spare tire well which I find are very visually distracting by hanging below the frame. The pipes provide more balance against the body lines.

These Ponchos have a lot more flare than their Malibu brothers... which made our tire fitment possible.

Since last year's rear spring experiments (currently have cut LS1 F-body front springs out back ~300lb/in) we have had some rub issues up front (it just isn't balanced at all). So the 5660s are coming out and we are going with some 5664s. The biggest contributing factor has been controlling the movement of the 17x9.5s and 275/40s... as they weigh a lot, not to mention the 17x11s and 345s are stupid heavy too. Additionally the newly added mass of the 4L80E isn't helping at all.

And I figure since I am in there anyway I will add the Proforged tall upper and lower ball joints. The car has plenty of suspension travel with the drop spindles, which may not necessitate the 5664s being cut, and who knows how well this is going to play with the tall ball joints. I know when I put the 5664s in my Buick with the same tire/wheel combo I had to chop at least a coil off them to get the stance right (the car had B-body spindles which I believe dropped the car a bit too). So we'll see.

An "aha!" from 2012 is a solution to your 2018 problem?

Seems like it should be more readily available.

You'd think.

Well it helped alot. Only issue now is the TCC unlock speed is too low - it doesn't lug too bad (especially considering the size of the cam). The converter is pretty efficient so I doubt I am going to run into heat issues by leaving it unlocked up to about 50mph, and coming off at around 45mph.

After taking the whole family (Natasha got home last night after two weeks away) to MMA this morning in the wagon it was time for: rainy day projects!

Aka. sh*t I've been putting off.

First: install the rear GTO badge. A nerve racking success.

Second: install a 3rd brake light. It is mounted on a 11" long piece of aluminum angle. Added an LED plate bulb too.

Thirdly: pre-wire the auto glass popper I never really realized was in the gate.

Fourthmore: added another tailgate cable and hooked up the tension rod.

Later: the drip rail moldings.
