I'm going to remove the head tomorrow. Got it all ready to go. I just dont have an impact gun and the bolts are very hard. Will a breaker bar do?the gunk could be preventing the valves not to close causing the two cylinders low compression.
Any tips or something i should do before? Like maybe leave them soaking in pb blaster?I like a breaker bar instead of an impact, if the bolts are seized in place an impact can shear off the head
Even without cranking it?If antifreeze hit the bearing in the bottom end there is a good chance they are shot .
I would look to rebuilt it or get a different engine
Will it harm anything?drain the oil and fil up the crankcase with diesel fuel and let it soak for a few days and drain. That will clean up the grunge.
