I read a good idea that someone replied with a few months ago to someone who did not have a place to do their mechanic work, they suggested renting a storage unit for the time necessary to do the job. It becomes a storage room for your parts, and you can push the vehicle in at night and close the door.this is what the valve train and valley looked like 2 years ago.
I can just imagine what the crankcase looks like. I have yet to pull the engine.
so that's why I'm not looking for a rebuild, but maybe just to slap on some salvage yard heads to keep my eco running good for now until I can find a house for rent or to buy where I can pull the engine and possibly go ls or build one. I live in apartments so im limited on what I can do.

Yeeaaaa.... I'd like that.Sweet Jesus, just find a running 350, and drop it in!
Bro.... That is a genius idea. I wonder if storage room would be big enough to have both the elco and an engine hoist. I'm gonna look into that. Thanks bro.I read a good idea that someone replied with a few months ago to someone who did not have a place to do their mechanic work, they suggested renting a storage unit for the time necessary to do the job. Wow the community here is awesome! I wouldn't want to trouble you like that bro. You are a true blessing i can just wonder what all you've done for society. God bless you bro!!Its been years since I went looking at what I have in my storage room. I may have a set of 305 heads that have some miles on them but are in decent shape. If I have them you could clean up the bottom end and bolt them on. If I have them, you can have them. I would be willing to drive as far as Lake Charles and meet you there if we can do it on a day where I have the time. No promises because I may not have the heads anymore. Let me know.
