If it's not meant to be driven it's only a piece of art. I'm not interested in that art since it defeats the purpose of the car...IMO

LOL. This guy (who built that wagon) showed up a few years ago and expected us to worship his creation, and got all pissy when we said we didn't like it all that much. Got himself banned for it IIRC. Funny to see it again. Still don't like it.

I like the 4 headlight years the best. They look like baby Impala's. What year Malibu's had quad headlights? Was it just 83?
I also like his choice of rear view mirrors. I'm trying to do the same thing but in a "Gasser Nomad/Panel Look". I chose a pair of A-100 Dodge truck mirrors for mine. They are even more industrial looking then the ones used on his fantastic rendition!
It is like the ones on the Lil Red Express only I intend to paint them the same as the body color so had them media blasted.

Pics are lost in packing so I'll get new this weekend. Any way, it's a 1982 454 malibu classic wagon w/'camino doors and glass. they met up nicely to the 1/4 glass out of a 68 malibu wagon. Hood opens normal and front clip tilts. 57 chevy type rear 1/4s w/caddi tail lites and yes the gas fill neck is behind the left tail lite. Sorry to keep you on your toes!

So you used the Elky doors and glass...I assume that you slanted the B-pillars?

They do look Kool, My body and Paint guy wanted to do that to my wagon and I would have. Problem was I caught him over in the corner salivating over the potential money he was going to make on the project.
