1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham

It's been raining nonstop here. I have the last brake line flared and ready, but not to be installed on the car under the heavy rain.

Added courtesy lights instead for the rear doors. These are from a 1980-1985 Eldorado. Will use the same ones for the front doors. And they have provision for fiber optic / illuminated keyhole thing...

Installed rear courtesy lights.

Installed the last piece of brake line.

Found out the booster I bought on eBay is leaking...

Bleeding started - so far, one doubleflare was leaking; redid the flaring and all is ok now.

However, it looks like the fuel line is now broken - no more fuel supply to the engine. Probably happened while redoing the brake line - the line was probably rotten. There was already a leak in the front portion of the fuel line which I repaired this spring.

Another thing to fix...!

Rarely seen on this side of the Universe - a 1984 Cutlass with real cornering lights. These are from a 1978 Oldsmobile 98. They are a nice fit IMO. Just like the way Olds should have done it.

Also go this - will be useful in 2015 when the turbo is ready 🙂 Not sure how I will fit this in the dash - as long as the install looks OEM.

Fuel line is now fixed, started bleeding the brakes, but no oil to the rear wheels. Went to adjust the front/rear balance on the proportioning valve, but the knob broke... called it off for today. Did I say I HATE bleeding brakes? 🙁
