Looks like youre making progress. Whats left to get the car to the track?

I really need to make a list but I’m slacking 😂. I need to wire up the neutral safety and back up light switches, install the gauges and tach. I had one loose inner tie rod but I’ll do them all with new adjusting sleeves anyway. I need to make the cover plates for where the cage goes through the body. I would like to also rough in the body work and prime the car so it’s not 3 different colors but I’m not going to get to picky with that. So I still got some work cut out but a lot of that stuff I can knock out pretty quick. I really hope to be making passes by my birthday which is June 8th.

How quick are you hoping to go?

Made a little progress these last few weeks. I’m still working 3 days a week and my boys are home until May 4th unless they change it again but I’ve had some extra time here and there. Gauges and tach are done as well as the shifter. I got the belts in 100% and started making the patches around the cage. The top piece is going to be riveted on and seamed sealed so it can be removed for chassis certification. I’ll do the same with the rest of the holes too.

Dial smart cut a good light go rounds and win some money
Hey dude, best o luck. i bracket raced fer 8 years wif a 7.5". Only broke it twice:blam: runnin 7.60's in the 1/8th(one of which wasn't my fault). Couplea tips-28 spline aftermarket axles will be yer best friend as well as a carrier support girdle. #2-I see you have stiffer 4 link bars but are still in the stock locations. Best to either raise the uppers or lower the lowers to improve your instant center for planting at traction. I also had airbags in the right rear spring to counteract the ring gear climbing effect.
