Huge thanks and shout out to Scott Rod Fabrications. They were super nice to deal with and these pieces are high quality. I called and told them I would have to trim the bulkhead for my roll bar and they sent me extra material for no extra charge. It came in at $195 shipped. My local steel shop wanted $120 for the same .040 aluminum in a 4x6 sheet.

Got the exhaust all buttoned up today. I’m going to add 2 more hangers up by the driveshaft loop, the parts store universal ones wouldn’t work up there. At least I have 2 on each side for now. It sounds killer now, it’s loud but not as loud as I thought is was going to be, which is fine by me. I’ll post a video of it running as well.

I was finally able to get some work done this past weekend. I got the rear firewall and the fuel sump cover done. I bought a $20 fuel sump off eBay and cut the bulkhead fittings out and bolted it up. It worked pretty slick. The Scott rod fab firewall fit good but it was made to be used with the sail panels installed, so I had to make some extension pieces by the wheel wells to block off the gap it left. I also made the vent line for the fuel cell and I got the raced direct seat belts mocked up.

Looks like youre making progress. Whats left to get the car to the track?
