So while bolting up the GbodyParts front spoiler I must have pulled on the cord with the 500 watt halogon light and it rested against the middle of the passenger side of the spoiler long enough to warp it pretty bad so I tried my heat gun on low and spraying it with water to get it back in shape and that didn't work. so my solution was I cut a piece of 1/8" aluminum to match the full length and width of the inside of the spoiler and scuffed both surfaces up and applied 3M panelbond and then used a piece of 1/8" steel to apply pressure from the outside and clamped the crap out of it.
Worked perfectly!

I’d love to see a couple pics of that spoiler mounted up. I was looking at it last night. Love what your doing with your Regal.

I bought the ARE's on CL they had been on there a while when I saw the add so I was surprised he still had them when I called. I paid $150 for the whole set, as soon as I saw them I thought they would look good on the Regal.

You stole those! They look so perfect on that car.

So I liked how well my fix went on the front spoiler and how much sturdier it feels so I decided to do the same to the driver's side.

Also since I cut a hole in the hood to make the scoop functional I decided to add a trim ring out of aluminum (since it already has a soft edge) to give it more of a finished look and again used 3M panelbond to seal it from the top and I will paint it black when cured.
I also kept about 1/4"-3/8" above the hood to keep water from rolling in.

kirker dark red metallic with a lil black... right? i can't stress enough how much i love that color.

Thank you kindly, yeah it's Kirker Black Diamond Low VOC acrylic urethane. The color is Dark Garnet Red Metallic, and about 20-25% Kirker Jet Black. Then there is 2 or 3 ounces of House of Kolor F17 Dark Gold Flake into about 1 1/4 gallons of base coat. I'm really happy with it. It does change color depending on the lighting. In direct sunlight, it looks reddish-brown, and in the shade it looks purplish-red.

So I tried to get a few pictures of the front spoiler from Gbodyparts installed, after having to shorten my bumper shocks about a 1/2" everything lined up pretty well.

Also got the hood tach wired up.

I like the spoiler. Looks really good on the car.
It's not a perfect fit but still looks pretty good plus I wanted something different from the stock style spoiler.
