Looks kind of mean now. Your car is going to look pretty bad *ss for a daily driver. Don't make it too nice, I don't want you to forget about the Monte!
Thanks, yeah it is finally starting to look like something but still has a long way to go before it hits summer daily driver status and wait a minute I have a Monte?

I started doing mock ups on the 355 SBC short block, test fitting the oil pump and pan with the Cloyes timing cover.
I will probably paint it Tomorrow since I used up all of my gloss black engine paint on the Monte engine.

I have the 355 mostly assembled I am just waiting on pushrods and a few smaller items so I decided to throw everything on while I wait to get an idea on how it was going to look. I still have to hone out the harmonic balancer so I can install that next.

So I got my pulley set up done on the 355 and since I am using the V-belt set up I had for the alternator and power steering on the driver's side I had to find something to mount the AC on the passenger side so I can use a 307 set up.
I found some aftermarket LS brackets and modified them and then flipped them over and mounted them to other brackets I made so I can clear my fuel line and heater hoses when I make those.

I installed all of my new AC components and heater core and then finally got around to pulling the 307 a couple weeks ago and just put the new 355 in Today.
Still a lot to do but slowly getting there.
