I know how you feel about being "Patient". I parked my car in August 04 because I went to college in Ohio and I was from CT. So i bought a truck. The whole time I was in college i bought 1 part at a time until I had everything. I didnt get the engine together and running until spring of 07. Then had to get the car trailered from Ct to NJ by a co-worker. I installed it in fall of 07. I probably drove it 2000 miles since then. because of little things I needed to do and plus I have a house now which takes up ALOT of my time.

Car looks great! Keep up the good work. You'll have to get an updated video.

Great News!! My El Camino Passed NYS Inspection And I Took It For A Cruise All Day! It Runs Like A Champ And Cam Pulls Real Hard! I Totally RECOMMEND A Lunati 60103 Camshaft! No Regrets Here! I Am Going To Drive It All Weekend And Break Engine In Some More Before I Do An Oil Change And Have Some Real Fun With It! 🙂 Thanks Everyone For Your Encouragement And Help Throughout The Three Years!

Got Some Concerns!!!! Elky's Motor Is Making A Noise That Sounds Like Air Escaping, Kinda Like a Tisk, Tisk, Tisk Noise. It Increases With RPMS And Sounds Like It Is Coming From Under The Valve Cover. Motor Does Not Tick After It Runs And You Turn It Off.... Not Sure What It Could Be. Would Love Some Advice As This Is My First Engine Build! Thanks In Advance!

Are you running headers? Maybe its something simple like a exhaust leak.

No I am running stock exhuast manifolds with 2 1/4 true dual welded exhaust
