Are your brake lines chrome? Mine are chrome but the chrome is starting to peel. I either need to get some new ones that are already chromed or get mine re-chromed. If I do that I'll have to get some other parts re-chromed and it's gonna get expensive.

No they're stainless steel.

NICE work Andrew! Engine bay looks sinister!! That's too bad about stripping out the bolt holes..

Thanks.

I'm hoping that its possible my bolt was too short and I can use one a bit longer to grab more threads. I'm at least going to try that first before I rip the whole thing back apart to install the helicoils.

Thanks. I powder coated the intake, valve covers, air cleaner lid and all of the serpentine brackets and pulleys with satin black or matte black.

I'm liking the black as they say black is beautiful, Andrew what color are you going to paint the out side? Black? or other?

Looks great. I might be goin that route to keep it a little more low key. I liked those copper lines you had run previously but I think the all black will look appropriate considering your build theme. Can't wait to see it in paint!

Really digging the black Andrew. Sinister was my first thought and yea it fits the car.

Still black for the moment. Was going to do the black/gold theme but in the interest of time and ease of application I'll likely just go all black and then think about doing the gold later on.

I like the copper too but it was really tough getting them routed properly. With all of the fuel rails, fuel lines, sensors, alternator and AC it made it just about impossible. So I just opted for some black push-lok hose and brass fittings and called it a day.
