Price is a little tough to swallow for a cheapskte like me though

Interestingly, no cargo area pics

BUT, a lot better than my stalled project

I think it would have looked better starting with an El Camino and keeping the El Camino door and door glass with the sloping pillar at the rear edge of the door glass. It would give it that 55-57 Nomad touch.

I can appreciate the amount of work that went into the 2 door conversion. I'm not a big fan of lowriders (that's just me). The interior looks a bit rough (cracked dash, split upholstery on the driver's seat)

That rendition had been done by one of our members, Doug Chahoy, using an El Camino as the base.. Last we heard the car was up for sale.

I think the body work was properly done using original 2-dr doors. That's the way I had planned to do it many moons ago. I'm not a huge fan of low riders and Dayton wheels, but I can appreciate the amount of work that went into it. The body looks stock overall. That's what you want to achieve in a nice 2-dr wagon project. I hate welded up rear doors to achieve the so called "2-dr" look.. It just looks out of proportion. My opinion.
I do like the way he finished off the 1/4 window trim.
