personally id add a 350 cause its the easiest and cheapest...if this is going to be a daily driver...dont over build it! cause u still want to run 87octane fuel! change the rear gears to something like 3.23s or 3.42s with an OD transmission... itll be fun

How would I change the rear gears to 3.23's or 3.42s? Would i swap the rear axle with another one?
 
that's probably the easiest way. otherwise you have to take the rear apart--remove the axles, differential, and then the ring and pinion. if nothing else now's the time to put in a posi if you don't have one.
 
no it will not fit, unless someone put a 12 bolt rear in your car.
