You may find low vacuum even with the extra cubes with the W31 cam. They were a manual brake cam for a reason, they produced low vacuum. The manual trans 350 cam which is 217/217 .472/.472 cam would be a better choice. Supercars Unlimited sells them all.

I thought you just wanted a nice cruiser? That will have a rough idle and low vacuum. You will also want a pair of early 330 or 350 heads with W31 valves and the bowls opened and milled to 64cc or less. The W30 and W31 had 10.5 to 1 rated compression, 2600 stall converters and 3.23 to 3.91 gears factory.

I guess back to the Edelbrock cam it is
