The writeup for the Chevy in the stickies is great! However, has anyone done a 4L80E to a BOP pattern/torque converter/flexplate? I need to figure out how to do this to a 455.
Any resources out there?

The Transdapt is 5/16" thick, my adapter was thin tin. I wish there were cheap 2WD 4L80E here. I saw another 2WD 4L80E locally, asking $1100.Yeah I'm not too hip on the prices asked for a piece of cast aluminum.
The ultra-bell style seems the most robust, I looked at trans adapt, haven't used one yet and they do look a little flimsy.
I was looking for 455 for the wagon, nothing around here even as a core. I did find a 403 or I'll just keep with the 350. I have a BOP 400 already for it. I can get 4l80 cores for decent price when available which have been fairly spotty lately.
