I removed the g body emergency brake and installed the F body hand brake so I used the F body console that intend to modify. I changed the bellhousing so the transmission sits straight now, the F body console fits better now and I have to figure out what I want to do with it.

Thank you for the lead on headers.
I have a new set of Hooker Super Competition GBody 455 headers I bought 15 years ago.
Yes my project is a long term.
I discovered recently that they will not fit for the 4 speed standard.
I do however know that Thorton industries makes a SS shorty header that works for 455 and standard trans. The Hooker long tube headers are for sale buy the way ;o) Thorton SS 455 Gbody.jpg l 20190826_190314.jpg 20190826_190308.jpg

Yes, I am currently using the Z-bar system, someday if I come into some extra funds I would buy a Tremec 6 speed with a hydraulic system. My objective for this summer is exhaust, and frame stiffening above the F41 option already installed.

You may be correct on that but my future plan to upgrade rims and tires may interfere with the hooker header tube going around the frame. I plan to replace the dealer installed 1985 15" Western Wheels with the GBodyParts.com newer 18"/19" GNX repo models. I will need those fatter 19x9.5 rears for better traction with the 455 up front.
