5.3 swap motor mounts

I made sure I didn't drill through any cylinders. I guess I will just thread holes I made that way nothing should leak out.

The 7/16" tap broke in last hole now what. I tried drilling it out but am getting no where. Do they make a special drill bit for this application?

Do a google search on "remove broken tap". There are several youtube videos and discussions. There are also a few special tools. I think that engine is junk at this point. It would have been a lot better to get a different oil pan than the truck pan and/or different mounts than punch eight holes in the block. I'm still in disbelief over that.

oh! get a hole saw and go between the 4 small holes to give you room to get your wrench in there to hold the nuts. It worked on a set of running boards I installed once.
