I don't really need to do the hole saw thing do I. I tapped the holes so I don't need nuts on the back side. I got the tap out I had to go a 5/8" hole. I had to drill holes in motor mounts bigger also. There is now a 1/16" between edge of motor mount and hole. Steel is pretty thick so I think this should be fine.

After looking at the pictures in the other thread, I don't think this is possible. I think this is a hoax at this point.

Oil pan now has 5/8" clearance by passengers k member. Pan hangs 1-3/4" below k member. Oil pan is 8-1/2"from floor. My transmission is at 5 degrees. Is this too much? I read somewhere 1 to 5 degrees is acceptable.

Dude if you drilled holes in the block then take the block out, throw it out and get another one. The blocks are reinforced where the motor mounts thread in. You can't just drill holes in a block where ever you want. If you didn't ruin anything yet one step on the gas and the torque from the motor will finish the job you started in ruining that engine. If it were that easy you would find a thread here where somebody else did that. You won't

I still think this is a hoax.
