78 cutlass W-31 build

Just give it some time.

Things like this happen all the time when piecing together cars.

Just look at what happened with HAFROD's car all that time and $$$ then breaks the trans and smashes the bumper.
His is a lot nicer and I'm shore it will make it further than the neighbors driveway btw tonight there's a big puddle under the 3 month rebuilt trans. I can't walk to my truck without getting pissed at that guy

Sorry to hear this but I guess I understand. Pretty sure no one will be upset if you reconsider and get back to it in a week or two.

It's wet and rainy here so I'm I'm loading up the truck with carberetor cores and the carb for the olds and going to the carb shop in North Jersey. I read on there website site they buy junk carbs and none of them are doing me any good so maybe I'll get a discount on the rebuild for them when I get home I'll get back on the crew cab if it stops raining

hang in there Eric it took me 20 years to finish off my 64 ford and I don not have kids to distract that build .Good luck to you and the first thing I learned 25 years ago when I started work on my old cars that deadline were just suggestions .I honestly never met one of them you have a family too look after and that comes first old cars are a luxury not a necessity so keep in touch and wish you the best as for your transmission guy that Fu!@#$er will get his some day Jeff from Winnipeg

Well my daughter screwed the 2004R in my 70S. The fluid ran low, she drove it for an hour and now no 3/4 shift at all and slipping in 3rd as well. Since this is the thread is about self destructing Oldsmobile's.

Just got back from Custom Rebuilt Carburetors LLC and bringing those junk carbs payed off I think I brought 10 q-jets 3 of them he called wheel chocks and he knocked $100 off for the rest of them so I gave them all to him. One Chevy carb that was sized made his eyes light up and he told his guy to tag it for restoration. No clue what it was I found it in a dumpster lol. He also told me to gather up any other carberetors I can find for cors when I'm ready to do one for the 87 Cutlass he doesn't know what he's got coming I'm going to take up a collection of junk for that trip!

Just got home from a long day of running.well lots of driving anyway. First thing this morning I set out from home and went to the steel place in wall to pick up some C-chanel for the square body then I shoot up to North Jersey and picked up the carberetor all freshly custom built to my engine. Of course I had to do what the wife wanted so after battling all the shore traffic to get home it was switch to her Subaru and take the family to the other side of Philly to a party somewhere up 611. Well after my 7+ hours driving today I'm finally home ad took some pictures of what I'm doing in the morning
