78 cutlass W-31 build

Just got home from a long day of running.well lots of driving anyway. First thing this morning I set out from home and went to the steel place in wall to pick up some C-chanel for the square body then I shoot up to North Jersey and picked up the carberetor all freshly custom built to my engine. Of course I had to do what the wife wanted so after battling all the shore traffic to get home it was switch to her Subaru and take the family to the other side of Philly to a party somewhere up 611. Well after my 7+ hours driving today I'm finally home ad took some pictures of what I'm doing in the morningView attachment 72387 View attachment 72388so wish me luck I'm at it again lol
That's one sexy qjet.

Thanks that's the same carb that guy Phil at custom carberetor rebuilder in Middlesex dose nice work he did 3 for my brother and they all went on and ran without adjustment. I'm hoping for the same results. When I dropped it off we spent about 20 minutes going over everything done to the car and the motor so he could set it up correctly. It's going on right after I finish my coffee

So the trans is still giving me problems. I took it for a few test drives up the street and back adjusting it each time. It has improved on the 1-2 shift but it still only shifts at way high rpm! It started leaking worse now from the front pump so I'm thinking I got screwed so I guess I need to dig one up and get it built. I had to stop because it was starting to run hot again and it's still just not running right

Great!!!!! glad it's up and running!!
