That's one sexy qjet.Just got home from a long day of running.well lots of driving anyway. First thing this morning I set out from home and went to the steel place in wall to pick up some C-chanel for the square body then I shoot up to North Jersey and picked up the carberetor all freshly custom built to my engine. Of course I had to do what the wife wanted so after battling all the shore traffic to get home it was switch to her Subaru and take the family to the other side of Philly to a party somewhere up 611. Well after my 7+ hours driving today I'm finally home ad took some pictures of what I'm doing in the morningView attachment 72387 View attachment 72388so wish me luck I'm at it again lol
Thanks that's the same carb that guy Phil at custom carberetor rebuilder in Middlesex dose nice work he did 3 for my brother and they all went on and ran without adjustment. I'm hoping for the same results. When I dropped it off we spent about 20 minutes going over everything done to the car and the motor so he could set it up correctly. It's going on right after I finish my coffeeLooks gooooooood
Sweeeeet!!! It's amazing what a carb rebuild will do....I sense a slight boost in moral buddy! It's on and it runs pritty good. I think it still needs some small adjustments to be perfect so I'm moving on to the shifting problem I'll fill it back up with fluid and try adjusting the modulater and tv cable
Yea so I'm going to get back on my crew cab weekends. I can tinker with the Cutlass during the week after work when there's not so much shore traffic on my street it will be easier to road test it thenGreat!!!!! glad it's up and running!!
