78 Series Battery Topper- Modified the 69hurstolds way

First I saw of this thread.
1. Burd, are you affiliated with Mike R.?
2. Mike, I was wondering if you fixed the typo on the "load test" text. You have "LOAD TEST / 250 APM" where it should read "250 AMPS".

I was going to list prices, but should I post in the sale section if there is one, I didn’t want to step on any toes, lol.

That would be the logical thing for people looking for toppers. Most people will search the classifieds. But this is a battery topper topic in this thread so whatever you want to discuss about toppers should be fine here too. Just shooting the proverbial shiit here. 🙂

1. No affiliation. But I did buy a topper from him. Nice quality pieces, and since he has the "correct" battery labels now, he can hook you right up.

2. No. I didn't. That was the decal that came on the topper already. It appears differently, but same specs so I left it alone. But yeah, I never really looked at it that closely. It does say APM. 🙂

The typo HAS BEEN corrected, we are in the process of getting the yellow decals, they will be available in a few weeks, all toppers fit a 78 series battery, since there are so many diff Top battery hold downs, some may have to be modified, all 5 toppers are avail, $70 ea plus $15 priority ship, includes insurance, 3 toppers can be mailed in the same box, add’l insc should be added for your protection.

For those wanting the white case, interstate made 2, I heard they were discontinued but then I see one white case battery on their website, a topper on these battery’s looks very stock, heres my set up for my 78 TA.

Piddled around this afternoon and made the upper decal based on the original battery. Came out ok, I think. Good enough for me, anyway.

I was told all the white interstate cases were dropped, then we found this on their site. I need to go by a battery store to see how well the topper works on it.
the old black top interstate, had the logo on the rad support side. You didn’t see it.
