Nope, not just you. And not just gbodies.

Everyone's literal junk these days seems to be gold-plated. But decent stuff gets nothing but lowballs.

Ive got a low mile but stock 95 350 and 4l80e-HD 2wd, that can hear run and test drive. No noise, leaks, drips, etc. Also have a good 4.10 14 bolt ive been holding onto. Tried offering it for sale and I get $400, $500 offers.

Used junkyard trans alone is more than that.

Meanwhile, as we've looked for a spare truck/tow pig somehow 18 year old 280k mile suburban are worth 8, 10, 12k? Really?

Either lots of covid brain damage out there or the drug trade is doing REALLY well....

Maybe it photographs bad, but if you go to CL and look at the actual picts, it looks really rough for a 1,000 mile car. It may have been stored in a garage for 36 years, but it looks like it was stored under 8 feet of shifting crap. Maybe its just shadows, but It looks like needs a multiple Thousands in paint and body work. Hard pass for me @ $7000.

if the the buyer takes procession, what are the odds he will show up here is a few weeks, asking about mods for the V6?
