BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

What a nice, bright work environment...
Looks like you're on your way, Jim. Before you know it, it will all be over...then the fun part begins...putting all the doo-dads back on the car. 😉
The car has come a long way.

I getting deja-vu looking at these pics! lol
If you're half as excited as I was to do mine, this is going to be the longest week ever! hahaha!

Did your package arrive intact?

Looks sweet!!! Love the hood choice!!!!!!!!!
Thank you sir! It took some work to get it paint ready, but less work than Donavon's had done to his steel hood

Blake,I am super excited, long time coming! And yes, I forgot to tell you, the package arrived many days ago. Thank you my friend! I did look to see if I had some spare tailgate bumpers for you, but alas, nothing. But, I will measure mine when I get done paint and take some detailed pics for you.

For those following along, I went out tonight and searched for all my trim so I can prep it for satin/semi black. I found everything but one piece, the passenger side A pillar drip rail chrome. I looked high and low. It may be in the damned car but I doubt it. I posted a want add on the classifieds for one. I also need to find my seatbelts. This Is the worst part, finding sh*t that has been hidden for years.

Anxiously awaiting the finished product Jim!
Congrats on achieving this major milestone. If I were you, I wouldn't be able to sleep a wink all week, I'd be so excited!
You've worked your *ss off and paid your dues to get to this point, it's about time you finally get to reap the rewards from all your hard work. Super happy for you, (and just a bit jealous)!
🙂

Thanks Donovan, I can't wait to start putting it together. A ton left to do, but it will be drivable by spring, as long as I find all the parts.

And you've been humping on yours so am waiting for your to get done.

Don't worry you'll find it when the car's finished. Lol
