Yeah, Lauren makes them for the Olds. But, I would have to modify them a bit.

A far as the sweeps, I don't know about the aftermarket. I got mine from the junk yard.

Do the sweeps kind of resemble the Malibu type, only black. Same bead?

They look allot like the Malibu sweeps, there is no bead I think. I have to dig it out, I am drinking now so nothing its getting done, lol

Ok, took out the last piece if glass. I need to strip the left rear quarter panel and fix any and all rot.

That's a familiar sight. It's all starting to come back to me... :?
What are you going to use to put the glass back in? That's after you repair the area(s) of course. When I took my quarter glass out, it appeared to have a rubber gasket behind the glass. There were reinforcement strings in it, so I knew it wasn't just urethane caulk.
What was holding your glass in?

Jack, it was the same type of tape, with the string in it. I have a buddy that does auto glass. So, I'll have him use the urethane caulk to install the glass.

I have to get some clips and screws for the trim.

Started stripping the paint off.

Jim,
Looks like that quarter had some work done to it. Was the filler covering some rust? They seem to rust out in different areas depending on the part of the country the car originated from.

Here's a source for the window trim clip studs, thanks to Brian (Griff442). He was kind enough to send me a few thru the mail.
He's a good guy.

Yes, the last body guy just hammered the rust down and put filler over it. I'll have to check out the link to the trim clips, thank you!

I have to finish stripping the paint off to see the extent of the rust so I know what I have to cut out. I came to a stall though for today.
