Wow, nice work. It does have the Pontiac dash(!)... I might start believing the Mexican Monte SS stories a bit more after seeing that.... Thanks!
 
Yeah, I was thinking it was only the Mexican Monte SS that had the GP dash.. Very interesting. Nice pictures.

That came out wonderful...You got her down to nothing...Was that dash original to the mexican car or a Grand Prix donar??
I'd like to see pics of the finished interior. Great Job!!!

Thank you for your comments, the dash is OEM of the Monte Carlo Mexican. in a moment share the restoration of the dash

Heat was applied to the screw, that's magic.

I know a guy that lived in Mexico for several years, he drove his Monte Carlo home once. It was white like yours, had the Grand Prix dash with tach and gauges and was 350/4 speed manual with overdrive.
You did a great job on that car! 8)
