84' Cutlass pro touring build

I have to give accolades to Holley customer support and technical assistance. Working with a gentleman named Benson who i found out was a Marine in reconnaissance serving our country from 87 to 2005 deploying in everything from the first Gulf War to operation Iraqi freedom. He set me up with a new 340lph e85 rated pump which is an upgrade from what i had. Very helpful and excellent service from Holley. No costs involved on my end.
Yes their products might be a little more expensive but ya get what you pay for in this life
Thanks Benson and Holley!

Well it's a Walbro F20000311 which has now been renamed and current model number GSS340. Interesting thing is that everywhere I look including walbro which is now TI Automotive rates this pump to 500 hp max. I don't know the reasons why but I see this pump rating from 550 to 630hp on places that sell them. Glad I'm stepping up to 340lph because I am almost positive I will be closer to 550hp and over 500 lb/ft of torque. It is and has been made in USA which pleasantly surprised me. I will always prefer that or Canada 🇨🇦 just because.
On edit. Note that this 255 pump draw a little over 10 amps while the 340 is over 16 amps. I know that isn't a big deal to you guys using monster pumps for your forced induction but it should be a healthy little guy 😉

Got the 340lph pump in and tested it before I snugged up everything except for the feed line dead heading at my gauge. I barely heard the pump and it instantly pegged the gauge past 100 psi. Split second. Nice. Definitely bad first pump that was as loud as any electric pump I've ever heard and I've heard plenty. And here's a problem we've all had made worse by a now defunct right hand that has no strength or coordination.... that's gonna leave a mark
