A little more progress which is getting harder to accomplish with one good hand. Coolant filled from top radiator hose until she finally reached near top of the radiator. Manifold finally installed after R and R too many times due to leak at rear passenger steam vent fitting. Sensors (mostly) on front of engine. Catch can done but ran out of hose so that's why the blue one is there temporarily. All wiring to back of car is complete except for speaker wires. Have to figure out where to mount computer inside and finish wiring for that. Also need to fab up a bracket for flexible trans dipstick. Tried using a normal tube but there is just no way it can work with engine setback. Keep that in mind if you are attempting this insanity 😜

I'm using a stock trans dipstick on mine, but had to bend the shizz outta it to clear the firewall. So much so it points towards the driver side and kinda sucks to fill, but it works.

I bent the bejesus outta mine also but couldn't really attach it to anything and didn't want it to blow off the trans.
Fyi the flex one i got is a Summit brand but it's Lokar because it says so on the stick. About 1/3 the cost

Did you drop the trans pan and make sure its reading the right level? Should be about 1/4" above the flange for the pan on the inside of the trans.

I ask because my Lokar was WAY off.

I will definitely check that. I've heard a few reviews on many dipsticks being off
Thanks
But hey it's a Summit really ;)

Well ran fuel pump to check for leaks. Only had 15 to 18 psi at fuel rail. Disconnected the feed from the pump at the Wix filter/regulator thinking maybe regulator is bad. Nope. Still only 15ish psi. I knew I should have cut an access panel into the trunk. Spoke with a Holley tech and he told me to bypass the relay setup i did in the trunk. Took hot and ground directly to the battery (13.5v) checked with Fluke meter. 15 psi
Sux to be me
