84' Cutlass pro touring build

Now the real work begins. It looks so nice I'm contemplating leaving it bare.

How thick is that aluminum its made from? I thought about doing aluminum but figured it would be too flimsy. I still havent made mine yet so i am still exploring options. Looks good though man!

nice, should support some weight for sure. Im interested to see your thoughts on this system vs the vintage air.
From everything I've read they are both good systems. I won't have an opinion until she's charged up and running on a hot humid day. Hopefully in the spring
The plate/box is plenty strong btw. No worries there

A little progress. Most of the work is getting the evaporator unit in the right place and I would be done except I need a 180 degree fitting for the suction side. And there are none to be found anywhere near me. I have one coming shortly along with an a/c hose crimp tool. For what they want to charge to crimp fittings in my area it's worth it to do it myself. Only four crimps required under the dash but about 8 or 10 in engine bay. Should have that mechanic end done mid week. Took some time using Sem color coat on dash and related parts. That stuff is incredible. Went from blue to landau black. Came out better than I expected. Plus a little wrapping going on some pieces and light switches almost done. A lot of wiring in my future. The carbon wrapped pieces are just sitting in place and not pushed into their final locations just yet. Boss 3.5's in place as well.
