84' Cutlass pro touring build

This is another great thread that I haven't been able to follow for some reason? Well, I will watch for updates now.

Beautiful work Tony! It’s looking fantastic. I like that you chose to paint the fabricated HVAC piece rather than leaving it raw or polishing it. It’ll lend to that subtle “custom, but not in your face custom” touch.

What are the blue buttons(?) for on the dash??

Headlights and high beams
Yes I agree with the painting being subtle and pretty good looking as well 😉

Little progress.... I would have been this far Monday but ups lost a package and it finally arrived today.
But thinking about it i haven't had anything lost or delivered to wrong address since 1993. Not bad for 27 years. Evaporator mounted and a/c lines buttoned up. 5lbs of sheeite in a 2lb bag. You can see the 180 degree fitting in silver top right. The bottom 2 lines are for heat. Just have them held up out of the way for now. I'm not running heat for now but I connected them to the heater coil prior because it would be a real chore to do it later. Pictures aren't the best and it's hard to see everything done due to location obviously. Still need to run 8 flex ducts (2") . Two for floor, two drivers dash, two passenger dash, and two for defrost. It's still going to be a bear to complete but coming this far for me is somewhat of a miracle. Plus I'm learning quite a lot.

Nice work, i was thinking about doing a carbon treatment to my dash also. I really like the look, like some others first thing i looked for was the orientation 🤣

Well after going over analog gauges (which I really like) I made the decision to go digital. This is a semi final setup so I'd like to get your thoughts and suggestions. It is centered on the steering wheel. I think I need a Rocket emblem somewhere so that may go over the expanse of carbon fiber. I will soon finish up under dash wiring then entire dash will be assembled.
