Few shots of interior. It's cleaner than my 2017 truck. Lol. Anyway, I am probably going to clean it really well when time comes and stick with it for awhile. Can I get a floor shifter down

Mock up of seat. Also have outer window sweep just sitting in place. They are original GM and were chrome and not an easy task adding the black.
These are my original mirrors. I wouldn't mind stripping/painting them but they are a little loose. Any options as to tightening them? Or should I just bite the bullet 🤔 Errr buy the bullet mirrors???

The little details like that take your car from just another old car that he tried to fix up, to a nicely done restomod. Problem is if you don't do them people will notice, if you do them, no one will bat an eye probably except for those of us that are really into these cars and pick up on that kind of stuff.

Loving your build!
I have a couple questions, maybe I missed them.
What headers did you end up using?
And what shifter?

Thanks
Tom

G-body mirrors are positioned differently vs others fore/aft along the length of the door edge so choose something that can work w/the existing holes & still be functional if you go that route.

Damn. How this thread has existed for so long without me noticing is uncanny, like Texas82GP

Tony whenever you're done, now that you're all practiced up I've got a black Monte that could really use the old treatment.

I understand. I really don't mind the look of the "older" style that I have but the swivel is a little loose. So I guess I'm on the hunt for bullets. Everyone seems to be out of passenger side 😕

Headers are full length Holley 1 7/8" primary 3" collector ceramic coated. Shifter is Hurst mega i believe but I may change that.
