Brother I don't even wanna tell ya what I paid for it. Tony Mamo ported.Sweet!!! That intake flows like a beast, but I just couldn't chuck that change...says the guy with the $700 Holley intake lol.
I've owned 2 big block Chevelles one of which had a significantly modified 509. The TA would beat both easily on the street. Very quick and handled like slot car. That flake is a bit too much for me. Badass car though.
You don't have to, I already know what the normal cost is...then Mamo got ahold of it soooo yeah I'll keep my mouth shut lol.Brother I don't even wanna tell ya what I paid for it. Tony Mamo ported.
I'm not looking to have a disconnect switch that I'd have to open or close for security reasons, rather, a safer way to have battery mounted in trunk for performance and cleaning up engine bay. If you switched negative battery then while driving that long hot lead going to the starter is still hot. You can install a circuit breaker at battery to help with this (and still might do that) but I feel this is safer. JMHOI like where this car is going. Just a thought is... If you add a master disconnect switch on your negative battery cable. It would kill all power to the car. You will still have the same amount of positive battery cable no matter where you put the star seliniod. Keep up the good work!
Yep, I'm adding a 150 amp breaker by the battery...that way if there is a spike it'll kick the breaker instead of smoking the car.I'm not looking to have a disconnect switch that I'd have to open or close for security reasons, rather, a safer way to have battery mounted in trunk for performance and cleaning up engine bay. Is 150 enough ? Do you know your current draw for starter ?Yep, I'm adding a 150 amp breaker by the battery...that way if there is a spike it'll kick the breaker instead of smoking the car.
Should be plenty. Northernregal and RKTPWRD are running the same amp breaker with no issues and same amount of electronics or more.Is 150 enough ? Do you know your current draw for starter ?
Cool.... I know there are many variables... Engine size and compression being the most important.... I think !?Should be plenty. Northernregal and RKTPWRD are running the same amp breaker with no issues and same amount of electronics or more.
