That cam can run. Beeterolds on here used it in his 403 with 330 heads. I believe he ran 13.30's in the 1/4. I don't if he ran it with low compression. Hopefully it goes well, you picked a good foundation to build up. I should have waited and bought a 84 Hurst/Olds.

Thanks man, I'm keeping my fingers crossed hopefully this thing will be on the road real soon, I know im going over board with the oil & trans cooler but I had real issues blowing up my rebuilt 700r4 in my camaro so I wanna avoid it before it becomes an issue. I wont have the fan kick on til 210 deg, and I got that 3 row rad w/ LT1 fans coming soon so cooling should be the least of my issues.
No good choice. I cheaped out on not getting a new rad right away, overheated the motor. I blew the torque converter at track, bigger cooler might have helped. Hard to over cool a motor or trans, easy to under cool. I learned the hard way.
The stupid snow made me miss my fedex delivery, but wth gettn 6 hrs at time n a half is well worth one das wait. Oh yea I have to work tomorrow too so that more o.t. woohoo, so my lady is gonna have to receive my package(pun intended). Hopefully I will get off work in time enough to work on the car.
Damn dude that had to suck, live and learn though right. But the differance this time is I'm gonna go with adjustable fan controllers unlike I used on my never end or cooperating punk *ss camaro abomination project.

Going to be a nice ride for sure....heck I'm on the fence on my lemans ...too paint, not to paint, to buy wheels and tires, not to buy wheels and tires....Unfortunately the gbodies don't bring alot of money right now....I've got to make some decisions too on which way to go with her...Good luck on your build!
