85 ss almost finished

I don't think anyone is going to be judgmental of a 'weak' time slip. I'll bet you're weak time slips thumps my best over the next year. From the looks of the track, I don't think it would take much to be off of it - how narrow is that strip?

That rear crossmember install is SWEET. The adjustability is crazy.

Does this ever see any street time?
Its registered and insured, I've driven it down the road a few times but C16 is expensive and this thing is thirsty. The only somewhat clean hit I made at a decent track it went 5.40s with a soft tune up. Once I get the suspension lined out Ill be able to hit it harder and turn on both kits. The track where the picture is taken is George Rays wildcat drag strip, awesome place for no prep but its sketchy AF. Ill post another picture of the track.

trying to keep it straight

In 1961, he built what remains one of the only heads-up only dragstrips in his backyard in Paragould. The all concrete track is 1/8 mile, and has been in operation for the past 49 years [as of 2009]. It is an racing institution in Northeast Arkansas.

Mr. Ray began racing in Tennessee, then decided to build the Wildcat Hot Rod Drag Strip when he realized that they favored certain drivers. The track was his labor of love to say the least. He had his own set of rules for races. Cars were raced by engine size, horsepower, etc.

LS Swapped?

Took the G body out yesterday to JJ da boss race in memphis. I ran the big tire race on 28x10.5 tires lol. I made it to the 3rd round and got Kye Kelly, needless to say I didn't win. Had a blast though.
