My work truck got sick yesterday, so it had to go into the shop. That allowed me to get a vacation day today, soooo I started tackling the spoiler repair and glad I did. There were alot of pinholes that were missed during the initial bodywork.
I hammered down, used some kitty hair for the big repair crack, then 3m finishing glaze for the pinholes, sanded it all, then sprayed 3 coats of SEM high build primer. It'll likely take a couple more rounds of primer between sanding, but it looks way better already. I'd like to have it ready for paint by end of week, but we'll see how it goes.

I've thought about, but it really does look good the same body color. I have until sanding is done to decide, who knows.
Yeah, probably back to charcoal. It might make people pause thinking it wasn't supposed to be there in the first place if it wasn't the same color as the trunklid. Wait...it's NOT supposed to be there. It's a Chebby part!
