What trans? If it has the 200C and 2.14 gears, that makes it less valuable IMHO.
I agree. Most 87-88’s got the 4 speed. Especially the higher models like the Salon

I believe all 88's got the 2004R. I assumed a more loaded car and being a 87 makes a 2004R more likely. Probably still has 2.56 gears, maybe the optional 3.08's if lucky. Vinyl top? More likely to have hidden rot.I agree. Most 87-88’s got the 4 speed. Especially the higher models like the Salon
In 1987, LV2 (307) cars got MX0 (MW9) 200-4R transmission standard. MX1 was only available with the V6. Straight out of the 87 Oldsmobile dealership ordering guide.I believe all 88's got the 2004R. Which makes sense the 88 being the same car, was also only available with that drivetrain. Only difference is the V6 was no longer available. In 1987, LV2 (307) cars got MX0 (MW9) 200-4R transmission standard. MX1 was only available with the V6. If it's got a 307 from the factory, it has a 4 speed auto in it.
Were they Salons? I'd like to see the documentation for it if so. Ordering info says MX0 is N.A. with LD5 while MX1 is N.A. with LV2. This is for SALON. Have no idea on Supreme, as I never looked that up.Interesting, ive had several 87's in the past and more recently a buddy of mine had an 87 all factory 307 cars that had th200 3 speed autos originally. And the one my friend had was purchased from the original owner while he was was working at the dealership that sold it new.
Probably my bad for the confusion. Not everyone has a dealer ordering book, so I forgot to mention Salon had it's own pages of information in the guide. They were all supremes. Sorry I miss took your statement as all 87 cutlass didnt realize you meant only salons.
