Jerry aka DeMoNcHiLd let me use his flux welder and I can get the seat brackets welded up in the morning now... I Put the dash back in so I could measure and mock up the center console and bread box. Got it all marked up and I'm ready to get it crackin. The welds won't be pretty, but they'll be covered anyways with fatmat. I'll get a few pics up tomorrow...Thanks for checking back..

Tried to do a lil welding on the brackets. I suck lol. Not pretty at all but the brackets are in there. Imma grind down and clean up the welds. Then hit em again.. Right when I was getting into it, I had to rush off to work..

Dropped the seats back in and tested things out. Ill get better at the welding with practice. The Bu is next! :wink:

Yessir! Lol! That's what I was saying. I had the welder a lil too hot cuz I was burning thru the bracket tabs. Also had the wire feed too fast. I see how I can do a lil better and will get another chance on my 79 Malibu this coming weekend.. Man it's comments like yours that keep me in the game bruh. Thanks for that 😀 now I really can't wait to get off and finish up the last bracket-rear passenger side. Then I'll do the shifter mounts and cut the hole for the shifter cable and electric cutout wiring. Imma "try" to wake up at 9ish and start back on it. I go into work at 5pm at and off around 3:30 ish. Hard to get up that early and be motivated to bust knuckles lol. Thanks for checking back fam.

Bro, those welds are good!! When my bro in law lend me his welder i was getting headaches like krazy!! Me and welder do go together ... But ur doing real good for a starter... Get good at it so u can show me a thin or two on welding.. Lmao.. Keep it pushin big bro 😀

Thanks for the encouragement bruh!!!! I finished em up after work (4am) this morn. Imma grind all the splatter spots and then wire wheel em. Do another "practice" bead on em and then chassis saver em for some protection. Thanks again fam! Now I'm pumped to get back on it when I wake up.
