Awesome- I'm going to,paint by Monte black as well.... Can you go into detail on your paint job? Whose product, where(garage, shop painted)?, did you wet sand BEFORE you clear coated, etc... That looks awesome and I'd like to duplicate what you did and how, thanks!!!!

Paint looks fantastic!

loving the 86-88 monte/elco sport mirrors(i have the same on ALL my g's😉) any reason you didnt move them forward? now this is the car MEANT to have flares!!! beautiful work!!! what size you have going on with that rear tire? are those one-piece bumper fillers you are running? is the t-topped regal gonna get done as well?!?!

Thanks Guys!
Geo's66- On the paint I believe they put 3-5 coats of clear, wet sanded to 2500 grit, added 5 coats of clear and wet sanded again to 3500 grit. Zack Rogers painted it for me (Rogers Rod Worx 662-419-4909) he'll be glad to help you with the info you need.
L.A.X-RATED- The Monte Carlo mirrors to me, looks a lot better than the ones GM put on the Buicks. I just installed them in the stock holes for the factory mirrors. The rear tire is a 345/30/19 I wish I could find a lower profile. That's the lowest profile I could find. the fiberglass rear fillers were fiberglassed together. And this is the plans for the T-top GN. I got my blessings from Hermance Designs to build it.
