87 Grand prix question

i recently purchased a 87 grand prix that had the original engine pulled and a chevy 350 put in but the person that did the swap just left a lot of the un needed ires hanging there and i would like to clean it up but i can not find any wiring diagrams for the car i also can not find any hilton or haynes books for the car if anybody could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated i was also wondering which car parts are interchangeable with the car. or is there a haynes or chilton book from another car that would work.

The wires that are hanging are probably from the computer harness. You can eliminate the entire harness if you choose. It runs through the right side lower firewall behind the wheel well. The computer is behind the kick panel. Unplug it and remove it and the harness. Also remove the check engine light bulb. The ecm has nothing to do with power to the ignition or lights. I removed all that in my grand prix when I did my engine swap.

Adding to the quarter window thing, they are also different from vinyl/landau top cars to hard top cars. Landau quarter windows stick out a little more (1/4 inch? Less?) than hard top windows. Just something to watch out for junkyard hunting. If you see a car without a vinyl top, and the windows stick out past the panel, there ya go.
