Wassup peeps!! Im still around. Been workin on the house and gettin things setup in the garage shop/gym. Its really coming together. Soon as I get the shop together, I'll be getting back on the SS and my Elco. Preciate' all the comments, luv and suggestions for my project. Now that I got a cool lil spot to do the work, I can get things crackin and knocked out in no time. The next thing I need to do is add more lighting and outlets. Been doing a lot of research on it and it seems pretty easy to do. Craiglist has been my best buddy as of late. Picked up some really nice racks and work benches. Picking up a drill press, vice, bench grinder and table saw. Things are progressing nicely. I'll get a few pics up soon. Here's a vid I shot for a friend and posted it up on utube.

Cant wait to get the lights hung. Im always pumped up to work on the SS after I get off from work in the morning.

Indeed. F**k the oil change. Can I finish my car in your shop bro? Lol. I'll move if I have to.

Oh and I have some suggestions for the Roc Shop: a flat screen TV, a sofa, and a small fridge for beer.

HAHA! You know it! I was just up at Costco checkin out a 40". Its all in the works. Soon as the crib is all setup, I can swing a few goodies like that in the shop. Gotta get the lights setup. Just a few hanging, pull string types and Im good. The outlets seem easy to do also. Been reading up and watching a gang of "how to" vids on Youtube.

Here's a few pics of some of the lil shop projects and some clean up woark Im doing on the SS. Had to rewire some stuff the shop effed up. Unsafe. Took minutes to do with the lil stuff I had. Thats why Im on this whole shop setup project. The job is so much easier with the right tools. AND plenty of SAFTEY gear as well. I also plan on having fire extinguisers in different locations and a first aid kit. Here's a few pics... I'll start with "Tha Roc Shop"

Lil Husky tool box i got off of c-list for $50. Even modded that a lil..

Couple of progress pics on a few projects. I had to do some major cleaning up on stuff that bullshitin *ss shop did. As I was taking panels off and removing interior parts, I was finding all kinds of unsafe stuff. Bad grounds, bad soder (sp?) jobs, you name it and it was bad. So I did a lil work..

Push button setup for my digitaal panel. The shop had some ghetta *ss rigged, bad sodering jobber stuck in the cig lighter area. I found the correct push buttons in the box! WOW. Used some wire connectors and taped, shrink wrapped em. Nice and clean

4738068796_10ee94b1f6_b.jpg

Added some quick disconnect style wire holders for later. Just in case I wanted to do some work, I can just pull em apart. No cutting

4737435051_2e9a11dd50_b.jpg

Setting up the mounting holes. The center hole is for my electric cutout kit controller. I also have a keychain remate to open/close the cutouts..

Wire loom will be used also..

4738075134_393b82dac4_b.jpg

Finished up the radio/hvac flip mod. Came out decent..I had to make a template for the faceplate and trim it to fit inside the factory bezel. A lil massaging from the ole grinder and belt sander and viola! It worked. Need to clean it up a lil here. Maybe im being to maticulous. LOL! It came out cool for a beginner...

Just a few things I worked on. Soo much more stuff to do, but its nice to be able to do it when ever I want. No rush. No money spent at shops that dont give a **** about your stuff. If I mess something up..Hey, its on me. Chalk it up as a learning experience. Much rather do that than pay a shop to mess it up and then they wont stand behind their shitty work. Thanks again for lookin guys. Preciate all the input and help with the lil cruiser.

Damn, i'm glad to see someone else is where i am with my car, or was anyways.

Great job dude, really. Your car is ****ing sickk.

I'm almost done building the motor for mine, Most of it's high gloss powdercoat black, i'm blacking my 88 Monte SS out.

Gaahd DAMN!!!!! Your Roc Shop is even nicer than I thought. You've been workin' bruh and it shows. Well done. I'm no longer joking about moving next door lol. You might think I'm still joking but really, I'm not!

The Monte is lookin' sick as usual. I wish I could present my work as nicely as you do! Lots of nice detail. I hear you about shops ****ing up your sh*t and not taking responsiblity. That's the whole point -- we try to get away from having ANYONE else touch your car but you. That's the whole beauty of your whole setup... and I gotta say, well done bro!

P.S. when you present your shyt like this, it's appreciated by so many people including me! Keep up the good work! :friday:
