when we raced a G body on a tight budget we ran a half mile track Friday nite and as 2/3 mile track on Saturday nite. We had to swap out the whole rear end and bleed the brakes every Saturday morning if we weren't up all nite repairing a damaged car....those were fun days....

So how much power do you have now and if you build your engine up what would be your power goal for that?

Well then save up and build a good rearend and don't skimp on quality parts that's the only way it will last without having to go back and do it again. I have a lot of money into mine starting with a Moser 9" ,Nodular case, Detroit Locker, 410 gears , Wilwood disc brakes etc. to hold up to the abuse I put it through.

Thanks, I built the car to handle pretty much anything I plan on ever running in it.

We were in the same boat in our race days. We could not run a 9 inch then only 10 bolts. We end up with two cars, one for each track. That was sort lived through. Street cars are more fun!
