I'm really not one to convince you not to. I've been thinking about it myself. How much were you actually thinking about using?
Only a 40 or 50 shot. Nothing too serious.
I've really only seen 3 legitimate reasons that guys have problems with using nitrous.
1. Get too greedy. (300 shot on a 200hp engine, using a known weak engine, etc.) Avoidable.
2. Improper installation or tuning. (No timing retard, wrong plugs, wiring issue, etc.) Avoidable.
3. Mechanical failure. (Plugged fuel jet, fuel pump failure, solenoid failure, etc.) Rare and sometimes forseeable.

So, to the naysayers, any personal experiences?

That is an awesome project it makes me want a 510 or a wagon, and i wish my wife was that cool. all she ever wants is a new car :puke: Are you on the ratsun forum? For the last two years i have been putting together a vg30et from a 300zx, in a 85 Nissan 720 truck, it has been a very expensive and time consuming project by having to build headers, an oil pan, motor mounts and perches, notching the frame, etc, etc, But it has kept me busy from time to time and kept me out of trouble. :D

Yeah, I'm over there. Same screen name. I used to be pretty active but don't post there much anymore. There's just a small number of threads I check in on. I just don't like the feel over there anymore. Your 720 is gonna be a hand full. I'll have to go look for your build thread.

Nice work. I love old Japanese cars(they had character unlike today's cars)

As for your stalling problem.Since you swapped a GM engine and its bits and bobs did you check to see if the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) was bad or perhaps the Cam sensor is bad.

Push many a GM car into the shop as an apprentice tech due to those sensors

More pics please

Yeah, I guess that's what I meant. I guess if I went with what I said this thread could get really entertaining.
