AC Advice Needed

Plenty of high pressure ac hoses. The high pressure line from the compressor to the condenser has a rubber hose in it, because if it was metal all the way it would fatigue and break otherwise so it has to flex. I work on ag equipment for a living, and there are many applications where either they are already all rubber lines, to some where they have kits to do away with steel lines and make them all rubber. I've even seen on older equipment where the rubber hoses are held on with regular hose clamps, of course with special fittings. When I finally get my elcamino back together and the duramax in it, i'll probably make rubber lines for it, because they will be easier than making steel or aluminum lines and attaching rubber to them for flex.
I am referring to the line from evap to condenser.

It may not be factory, but that line would have no problems being rubber, other than not being original, its still on the high pressure side because its before the orifice tube.

Found one. The F body line has 2 fittings. The one in the middle has the high pressure switch attached to it.
The other is the high side service port
The one in the middle was corroded when I removed the switch. It might seal ok. The service port is perfect.

How much for it?

So I removed the top of the AC box or whatever it is called I am replacing the heater core and evaporator. There is a black gasket that literally broke into dust so I assume I can just replace this with some silicone. There is a vacuum actuated door behind where the blower motor sits, the rubber portion of mine looks to be in bad shape. Are you all replacing this with something or just leave as is? Also the pink and grey vacuum hoses on mine seem to still be in usable shape however the heater control valve is missing so looks like I need to source one of those.
Just in case someone reads in here for some advice. I am posting a few pics of the items I used to reseal the AC box and some of the filters inside it. I used the foam sheets around the flaps because mine was very brittle. I used window strips and window ac filter around the accumulator and heater core. And the caulk strips to seal the box.
