Amazon does a great job in my opinion. I do a lot of business with them. Fast shipping and when something goes wrong they take care of it. I price shop them but they are usually hard to beat, if it is something they sell. I've had mixed results from third party sellers on Amazon but mostly good.

unlike some of you I do not live away from civilization but there is no place in this city that sells double edge blades and Amazon has a good section to chose from so unless I was to head to another city to buy some I'm stuck with using Amazon. I did travel to another city to pick up my razor so I could get one that felt comfortable. The funny thing is that where the store is it's a much smaller city than where I am so it's strange that there is no local store.

I just hate what Amazon is going to turn everything into, I was a fan until the Prime BS. They used to ship everything fast then slowed other stuff that wasn't Prime down to make you want Prime which I think is a dirty trick but good business to get more Prime customers. The major problem I had with them was that I purchased a guaranteed non scratch car cover that the draw string snapped on the first or second use. They were great at getting me out a new one and saying no need to return the old, well when I take it off the car I realized the lock that came with it was smacking off the side of the car. Report it to them since it was a third party vendor I had a feeling how it would turn out but continued to press them since they are using the third party people to greatly increase their market reach.
Finally feel like I am getting somewhere when I talk to a manager who says that I have to go get 3 quotes on the repair of the scratches which I explained was going to be hard to get in the first place and would require a full respray since it was Plasti-dipped. Well have to go all over the place to find 2 places that would quote me on the job and say I cannot get a third, they say that is fine that they will send it up to the bosses. Then have to chase them down for quite a while, just for them to give me the good old answer I expected in the first place. Sorry it was a third party vendor there is nothing we can do, funny how we can find and purchase through Amazon but then when something goes wrong they get to use that excuse.

amazon is a love hate ting for me. but damn they have everything., local places as much as i'd like to support them just don't carry a lot of stuff anymore and if you have to order from them it takes too long. i always check amazon, walmart and ebay for things. one alys has it cheapest and i'll buy accordingly...

couple months ago i ordered a fluk electric meter from amazon while i was at work. by the time i got home from work that same day the meter was sitting on my front step.. can't beat that.. 🙂
